Gold Run was a former mining town of the California Gold Rush, located in Placer County, California.

2022 Movie. Based on the true story of the effort to evacuate the entire Norwegian gold reserve out of Norway during the German invasion of Norway in World War II to keep the gold out of Germany's hands. Gold Run (2022) is a Norwegian historical thriller film detailing the true story of the daring 1940 operation to smuggle 50 tons of Norwegian national gold reserves away from Nazi invaders to Allied safety.

Centennial Olympic Games- 100

The 1996 Centennial Olympic Games (XXVI Olympiad) were held in Atlanta, Georgia, from July 19 to August 4, 1996, marking 100 years since the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. These Games featured 10,318 athletes and included a major, yet tragic, bombing incident in Centennial Olympic Park on July 27.
